Game update

Why should you read this instead of playing the game ? I’m not sure, but I’ll try to make it worth.

Here are the new shiny things gameplay wise :

• added the spirits type, a dice that plays on negative values 👻
• added a rarity system, now you can be like wow this must be cool caus it says “cool” on it
• added some new clients, including Sawyer LiVE
• temporary dice cant be held onto anymore
• spiced up your relationship with the landlord
• buffed the starry dice a little bit
• buffed the birds and dogs
• fixed many bugs, including the one with the tiny friends
• added global stats so you can flex hard
• introduced new box levels with shop upgrades
• introduced some bugs just for fun probably
• added the ability to pass rewards

Better visuals !

Christophe (me) had enough of some visual and decided (even if it wasnt planned) to update alot of visuals/User interface.

(new version is on the left)

Here is the full list of new UI/Visuals things :

• remade art for garden dice (cuter with better contrast)
• remade art for animal dice (i really couldnt stand that dragon)
• new art for the new spirits type
• remade the phone ui
• added matching backgrounds for the phone
• updated fonts and overall text look
• added main menu, option menu, and stats
• included a work in progress dice collection
• new splash screen
• fixed insandio’s ribbon

Better life !

We’ve made a few changes to make your life easier when playing the game.

Someone kindly left a comment in our feedback form asking for dice switcheroo, and Jack (not me) delivered !

You can now replace a die with an an other one by dragging it over the occupied slot.

You can also highlight dice with face of a specific type. If the dice has one that isnt face up, it will show a face count instead

(Here we can see that I have 8 potential stickers across 5 dice, but only one is face up)

Because we really like you, here is a list of all the new quality of life features :

• Middle click to put a dice in the first available slot within the box
• click on the types at the bottom of the dice mat to re order your dice
• press escape or home to open the pause menu

We also have an other very important quality update for you, so important that it deserves its own title.

YOU CAN NOW SAVE THE GAME

Yes, you read that right (unless you read “Weekend now say dave”, then you didn’t).

The game autosaves your whole progression, meaning you can get your full 5 hours of sleep then come back to play pretend-to-pay-rent without leaving your computer running.

Who do you have to thank for this amazing feature ? Jack of course, not me. I was busy redrawing the dragon for the 12th time.
